Grillado’s is a solid choice for a casual night out, though there’s some room for improvement. The atmosphere is cozy and modern, with soft lighting that makes it feel inviting, however, there was a little too much warmth. The staff were also attentive and polite. The menu offers a variety of dishes, and I was pleased with the creativity of the options. My starter, the nachos with chicken was delicious and well-prepared. The main course, a BBQ half chicken, was cooked perfectly, but the side peri fries were over-seasoned with salt. We opted out of dessert but the Oreo cake looked delicious. Prices are reasonable, and the portion sizes are fairly generous. While it’s not a place I’d rave about, it’s definitely worth visiting for a laid-back dining experience. Disappointing Experience – Unacceptable Service My family and I found this restaurant on Instagram and decided to give it a try. Unfortunately, we never even got to try the food because the service was so poor. We arrived around 2:30 PM on a weekday when there were only two other tables occupied. We stood at the front for about 10 minutes without anyone acknowledging us, so we decided to seat ourselves and wait. Another 10-15 minutes passed with no one approaching us to take our order or even offer menus. Frustrated, we decided to leave. One person from our group went to use the bathroom while the rest of us waited near the door. Finally, someone came up and asked if we were going somewhere else, with no apology or explanation for the wait. It was disappointing to say the least—no acknowledgement, no customer service, and no attempt to make things right. I’ve never written a review before, but this experience was unacceptable and deserves to be shared. Less

During our visit to Grillados in December 2024, we ordered the Chicken platter. Unfortunately, the chicken was undercooked in some parts, while portions of the chicken legs were overcooked and literally black. We brought this to the attention of the serving staff and supervisor, who were very apologetic and offered a discount to compensate. While the staff handled the situation professionally, the real issue lies with the chef, who needs to ensure attention to detail and stick to the recipe to maintain quality. I called ahead to place my order . I ordered the beef ribs, chicken nachos and Caesar salad. Only the nachos was good They really need to work on their ribs . Not only was it room temperature, it was mostly burnt black and not tasty at all . The staff didn’t come to check on us once even . I noticed the only people she came to check up on was the Caucasian ppl . There was 3 other tables besides us and she didn’t check up on them either . I would not recommend . The place has potential and generally decent but can go from good to great (make customers like myself actually want to come back regularly) if they had staff that conveyed even a moderate level of professionalism and cared about customers. Called three different times and no answer so I was forced to walk in during lunch time when they were clearly not nearly busy enough to necessitate missing my call. Had to wait 20 minutes for my order, and when asked if I could swap the side for one of the same price, was told flat out no. Maybe I’ll come back, maybe I’ll recommend, who knows - but it won’t be for the above reasons. Less

We tried their striploin 12 Oz since they were out of 3 other dishes we wanted.. asked for medium temp and we were given rare steaks. The cook is cooked. It's also annoying that the waitress made us order at the front and pay before we ate. We came here to celebrate a birthday and were so delighted with the service and atmosphere! The owner played happy birthday for us on the speakers and made sure the night was extra special. We ordered the mixed platter with extra pita and had leftovers for a group of 6-7. Great taste overall, highly recommend and would love to come back to try the ribs next time! Less
